“Thus says the Lord of Hosts, ‘Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it an be glorified.” Says the Lord.” – Haggai 1:7-8
It is important that we examine our life (our attitudes, actions, and activities), in light of how it brings honor and glory to the Lord. Often we get distracted by sorting through the right-and-wrong issues of life and forget that our call is to live in such a way that our Lord and Savior is glorified. I can honestly say that there are times and seasons of my life that I am not doing anything “wrong,” and yet I am not bringing glory to the Lord. I need to consider my ways.
It is time to go up to the mountain, seek the Lord, and consider what in my life may be used to build up the temple (the body of Christ) and bring glory to the Lord. Will you join me and consider your ways?
